POLICIES
The Martin Senior Adult Center provides this facility for your convenience and enjoyment. Successful operation of the Center depends upon your cooperation and compliance with the following rules and regulations:
- You must be at least 21 years of age and show valid picture identification in order to rent the Center. A copy of your rental will be sent to the Martin Police Department.
- Center reservation fees are payable in advance and are nonrefundable. Cost is $80.00. A refundable damage deposit ($70) is due upon rental of the Center. After follow up inspection and approval of conditions by authorized staff, refund can be picked up at City Hall after 4 pm on the Friday following your rental. Damage deposit refunds can be mailed if requested. If any damages occur during your rental, the damage deposit will be applied toward repairs with any additional cost becoming the responsibility of the person signing the reservation form.
- SAC Rentals will only be available after 6:30 pm Monday thru Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday up to 9 pm. Reservation should be made at least 48 hours in advance during regular office hours and may be made for dates during the current calendar year. Keep your receipt to show the date of your group’s reservation and the Facility Condition Checklist.
- WEAPONS, FIREWORKS AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED.NO SMOKING is permitted within the facility. Disorderly conduct, or lewd, indecent, or obscene conduct or expression is also prohibited.
- Furnish your own supplies (i.e. plates, utensils, punch bowls, trash bags, paper towels, etc..)
- Replace all chairs and tables as you find them.
- Any decorations are to be removed from facility including tape from walls, ceilings, etc...
- DO NOT stand in chairs for decorating (use ladder provided located beside vending machines).
- You are responsible for the clean up after you use the Facility. A vacuum is provided if needed.
- Carry all trash to dumpster beside building.
- Secure all doors and turn out lights upon your departure.
- This building cannot be used for All-Niters. Unless otherwise approved this building cannot be rented past 9 pm.
- Parks and Recreation/Martin Police Department Personnel reserve the right to enter the premises at any time to assure adherence to rules and regulations set by the department.
REPORT ALL DISTURBANCES TO THE MARTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT (587-5355). Call 911 for emergencies.

Insurance
Individual accident health insurance is not provided by the Martin Parks and Recreation Department. Participants are encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage prior to and for the duration of the activity they take part in from their own insurance agent. By applying for these programs, the registrant realizes the inherent risks involved in the programs and appreciates the nature of risk and will hold Martin Parks and Recreation Department harmless for any damages caused by participation in the program.
